Siauliai is located in Northern Lithuania. Its colorful traditions and modern attractions make it a fascinating place to visit.

The city has plenty to see and do. Jurgaiciai mound, the so called Hill of Crosses is a must. Over 1 million crosses make it a magnificent place. In the city center is St. Apostles Peter and Paul’s Cathedral. It is especially beautiful at night when the tower is lighted. You should also take a walk along Vilnius Pedestrian Street. There are aa summer amphitheatre, the river Rude fountain and different museums as well as many souvenir shops.

Siauliai hasn’t got an old town, but the town’s cultural life is full of original festivals that invite everybody. The most interesting festivals are: festival ‘Ant Rubeziaus’ where country musicians from the four Lithuania’s regions meet together and ‘Country Jonines’, Lithuanian country music festival. You can eat delicious food in hotel restaurants, private restaurants and cafes. In club – taverne Juone pastuoge, where llive music is played during the week older people can relax, whereas younger ones can party in the near trendy nightclub ‘MAX’.
